Kelly O’Malley is a results-driven communications professional with experience in strategic planning, media relations, influencer outreach and food/nutrition communication. During her career, she has represented a client roster that includes some of the biggest names in business including Sara Lee, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble’s Millstone Coffee and Pampers Baby Care brands, Kellogg Company, Visa USA, ConAgra Foods and many others.
Kelly has extensive experience with consumer marketing communications. While recent client campaigns have engaged a “Grey’s Anatomy” surgeon to discuss the importance of whole grain bread with Ellen Degeneres, Tyra Banks and “Entertainment Tonight” and a supermodel to treat lucky Rodeo Drive shoppers to a shopping spree, Kelly puts the greatest importance on a well thought-out and researched pitch. She employs her understanding of the journalist, media outlet, influencers and experts who can deliver consumer messages in the most credible way.
Kelly left big-agency life after a 10-year career at Fleishman-Hillard/St. Louis. Kelly was a senior vice president and partner at Fleishman-Hillard before she branched out on her own. Previously, she worked at Ralston Purina’s in-house agency for a variety of internal clients including Keystone and Breckenridge Ski resorts, Energizer Battery and Purina Pet Foods.
Kelly is a St. Louis native and a graduate of the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma where she received a bachelor of arts degree in communications with a marketing minor. Kelly is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Todd Hansen has extensive experience in enhancing and protecting reputations and building brands. His background includes developing and leading projects in media relations, marketing communications, employee engagement, interactive outreach, executive speaking opportunities and community relations. During his career, Todd has provided counsel to companies including Sara Lee, Hanesbrands, Dunkin’ Brands, PepsiCo, Gatorade, McDonald’s, SBC Communications, Office Depot and Deere & Company.
Todd specializes in ensuring that a company’s public message is consistent to all involved stakeholders. His belief is that individuals in our brand-savvy community actively measure “corporate brand equity” and expect to have a consistent experience with an organization as a customer, business partner, employee or interested party and that all communications must reflect its core values and approach to market. He has designed and executed multiple campaigns that successfully approach multiple audiences in a single voice.
A seasoned crisis communications counselor, Todd has participated in responding to some of the most significant crises corporations have faced in the last decade, addressing public safety and corporate reputation crises such as product recalls, regulatory investigations and facility disasters. Todd often works on location during a crisis, providing communications perspective to the overall strategic planning and serving as a company spokesperson to media, customers and other external audiences. He has also led numerous issues management programs to address issues related to environmental, litigation or community concerns.
He has extensive experience in working with companies that sell products through franchisee or distributor networks. His approach involves creating a dialogue that enables shared understanding and a coordinated approach to the marketplace. Todd previously served as senior vice president, corporate practice group director in the Chicago office of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and as senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard/Chicago. An agency veteran, he has held positions at DeFrancesco/Goodfriend and Cates Public Relations and served on the board of directors for the Publicity Club of Chicago. Todd is a Denver, Colo. native and a graduate of Beloit College in Beloit, Wis. where he received a bachelor of arts degree in English composition with a journalism minor. As part of his degree he studied political science and mass communications at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Prior to joining O’Malley Hansen Communications, Jenn was the communications manager at Winter Park Resort, one of Colorado’s largest ski and bike resorts. There, she served as the resort spokesperson and was responsible for creating news as well as mitigating potentially negative news and was regularly quoted in articles and on-air segments.

She has worked with Habitat For Humanity, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, First Book and VH1 Save the Music to link their good work with corporate partners who share a similar mission.
Harriet specializes in strategy and creative planning, infused with a passion for developing cause marketing programs. Her career took her to St. Louis for a position at what was then the Ralston Purina Company, where she worked on leading brands in the pet food, cereal, snack cake, animal feed and consumer tech categories. After 19 years in corporate marketing public relations, Blick&Staff Communications was launched to fill a niche in the industry that combined integrity with intelligence and big brand thinking with a passion for client service and an ability to deliver cost-effective, efficient programs.
